Australian Calabrese Cultural Association

The “Sono Calabrese series” is a program which gives the opportunity to members of the community from various backgrounds and generations to tell their story in a conversational and unedited setting.

The objectives for ACCA are to:
1.    Demonstrate the positive contributions that our community makes to the broader Australian community

2.    To counter the negative stereotype that is often depicted in the media of the Calabrese community in Australia.

Since its inception interviewees have covered the spectrum of successful and hard working Calabrese within our community including artists; writers; winemakers; gold and silversmith; academics; scientists; agricultural producers; business executives; local government representatives; a famous comedian and chef to name a few.
