Australian Calabrese Cultural Association

The ACCA International conferences are an opportunity to explore how relations between Calabria and the Calabrian Diaspora can be mutually beneficial to Calabria and the Calabresi who live outside Calabria. It is estimated that there are more than 7 Million people of Calabrese origin who live outside Calabria whilst there are only about 2 Million who live in Calabria. The Calabrian Diaspora is, therefore, a very large market for Calabria that, properly utilised, could stimulate the Calabrian economy in many ways.

The main focus is on the cultural, commercial & educational ties between the Regione & Diaspora that can be further developed for mutual benefit. The conferences are held in different regions of Calabria and provide delegates with a unique opportunity to meet with Italian politicians, academics and professionals in exploring strategic opportunities.
