What a wonderful Saturday morning we had with the incredible chef and musician Guy Scalise, who, alongside the talented Tony Tardio from 3AW as our charming emcee, guided us through the delightful process of making Cantucci biscuits. With the help of our lovely guests, Teresa and Carla, Guy whipped up a few kilos of these delicious treats, which were enjoyed with coffee and a shot of limoncello.
The experience was made even more special as Tony Tardio shared a selection of heartfelt poems in the Pugliese dialect from San Marco in Lamis, written by the legendary Italian-American poet Joseph Tusiani. Guy added a beautiful touch, accompanying Tony’s reading with his guitar.
A big thank you to The Teller Restaurant for graciously hosting us and providing the perfect setting for this memorable event. It was truly an unforgettable and enjoyable morning for everyone who attended!
